Terms & Conditions

Locked In is a private membership community for founders, athletes, and driven individuals based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. These Terms & Conditions govern your application for membership, participation in events, and use of our website. By submitting an application or attending any Locked In event, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Membership in Locked In is by application only. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason. Membership is non-transferable. You must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Submitting an application does not guarantee membership. Applications are reviewed manually and you will be notified of our decision within 48 hours. Providing false or misleading information in your application will result in immediate rejection or revocation of membership.

As a member of Locked In, you agree to: • Treat all other members, guests, and organisers with respect • Attend events you have committed to, or give reasonable notice if you cannot • Not record, photograph, or share private conversations from events without consent • Not use Locked In's name, brand, or membership list for commercial purposes • Behave in a manner consistent with the values of the community: directness, accountability, and genuine effort Breaching these standards may result in immediate removal from the community without refund.

Locked In hosts in-person events including runs, dinners, workshops, and meetups. By attending any event, you acknowledge that: • Physical activities (such as running events) carry inherent risk of injury. You participate at your own risk. • You are responsible for your own safety and physical condition. Consult a medical professional before participating in physical activities if you have any health concerns. • Locked In is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in events.

Pre-orders are binding at the time of purchase. By placing a pre-order, you authorise us to charge your payment method at checkout. Delivery timelines are estimates only and may be subject to change. All sales are final unless an item arrives defective, in which case we will arrange a replacement.

All content on the Locked In website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Locked In and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke membership at any time if a member violates these terms or acts in a manner we deem inconsistent with the values of the community. Members may also resign at any time by notifying us in writing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Locked In shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your membership, attendance at events, or use of our website. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify active members of material changes by email. Continued membership after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
